No. The people who gave the award pretty much said that they are going it in hope that he'll do something great and to inspire him to greatness.

Anyone see the Obama/George Lopez Commercial? Doesn't matter if you like Obama or not but how the hell does Obama think it's even appropriate to appear in a commercial to promote Lopez's shitty late night talk show? We should be waterboarding Lopez as he obviously has some major dirt over Obama.

Considering Henry Kissinger, Yasser Arafat, Mikhail Gorbatchev, Theodore Roosevelt, Le Duc Tho et caterva also won the stupid prize, I'd say it was never worth shit anyway.

Yeah, this was one of the weirdest things I've seen lately.

I mean who gives someone an international award for something that they haven't even done yet!

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the guy but this is really just one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.

He was even shocked that he won it.

What really makes me mad is the people who are up in arms about it. Seriously, who cares? It means nothing really. It's purely symbolic, other than the cash price that he is going to donate to charities, and hopefully it inspires him to do something great.

For the record, I like the dude and voted for him.
