Gents (and lady),
Looks like the fever is spreading with the success of the MadCatz SFIV sticks. Hori is going all pro with their buttons now.
Amazon has announced the following:
Xbox 360 Real Arcade Pro. EX-SE $140
Like the original EX, but now with Seimitsu Parts. Previous stick was $130, with Sanwa stick and Hori Buttons
PS3 Real Arcade Pro. 3-SA $120
Like the original 3, but now with Sanwa parts (like the SFIV tournament stick). Previous stick was $90, with Sanwa stick and Hori Buttons
Honestly, although the original sticks were cheaper in both cases, the aftermarket has driven their prices up. So you might as well go with this next generation.

I'm not really into the whole arcade stick craze because I never really grew up in arcades, but I can appreciate the usefulness of this and the increase in quality is awesome to hear! Seems like someone was listening to the fans!

its cool that they made sticks with several types of parts. I like Sanwa parts but I've never knowingly used used Seimitsu Parts. Hori buttons are usually fine.

That's cool, now I can finally get a decent stick for my 360! Let me know if you see any sites that are selling these.

I know I sound like an amazon.com fanboy, but they were the easiest place to pre-order the last Hori offerings, and they'll probably be the easiest place again.LoneCynic wrote:That's cool, now I can finally get a decent stick for my 360! Let me know if you see any sites that are selling these.
Plus free shipping in the US for these beasts doesn't hurt either.
I actually had a problem with one of the Horis I bought from them, and their return process had a replacement coming to me BEFORE I even shipped off the broken one. So I'd definitely cast my vote for pre-ordering on amazon.
