My biggest question would be...why? I mean, what's the point? It seems like a stupid thing to do. If he just wants to smash something, why not smash a printer? I'd rather he not smash a game cartridge, any game cartridge at all.

Yes, I'm even opposed to the people that go around breaking Shaq Fu cartridges.

The sad thing is I quite literally ran a scenario through my head as to how I would do something like that; but the fact that he's quite a few states away makes for some difficulty.

He will be viewed as a moron by all. Even video game haters would think the guy was an idiot for throwing away so much money. Sell it to some crazy video game freak and laugh at them while you use the money to buy things that you enjoy.
