So how retro are you? I'm going to list some of the shows I grew up on..and what I wouldn't give to go back and have a day or two of just lounging care free and watching these gems. I tried to get my kids into them, but they just don't like them.
Snorks
Smurfs
Thundercats
He-Man
Fraggle Rock
Heathcliff
If you could jump back to your childhood and kick back and watch some of your favorites what would you be watching?

Your list is close to mine, but I would add Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and GIJoe. What ever happened to the Visionaries.
The real shows I liked were Hey Dude, You can't do that on television, McGyver,Quantum Leap, and some helicopter show I cant think of the name at the moment
Recently I have gotten into Flapjack

hmmm, there is just way too many to list, I'll just say 90s cartoons from around 93 to 99.
stuff like dexters lab, doug, rocko's modern life, ren & stimpy, spiderman, mighty max, reboot... I could go on.
flapjack is definitely a worthy new cartoon.

Re: Retro Cartoons....
Thundercats (and by proxy Silverhawks) is one of the few shows I liked as a kid and I've watched a bit of again that still mostly holds up. Yeah things like old WB shorts, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, and Rocky & Bullwinkle hold up, but they were somewhat aimed at adults to begin with. Most shows I liked when I was little if I see now, I just shudder and wonder what the hell was wrong with me.
For instance. Mighty Orbots. Giant combining robots, check. Epic theme, check. Reference to Star Wars, check. "I've traced the deflectron to the planet Evilon dead ahead".
Wut?

Heh, same here - every Sunday morning Channel 4 would have the Super Mario Bros. cartoon, followed by Sonic

I was quite lucky I think, as with my age I saw alot of the best of the 70's, 80's & 90's cartoons, but alot of the older shows stopped being shown towards the end of my childhood, I really pity kids who never got to grow up with Thundercats, Battle of the Planets or Ulysses 31.
Some of my favourites when I was a kid;
Batman: The Animated Series
Battle of the Planets (aka Gatchaman)
Biker Mice from Mars
BraveStarr (BRAVESTARR! Speed of the Puma, Strength of the Bear!!)
Bucky O'Hare
Count Duckula
Danger Mouse
Dino Riders
Earthworm Jim
Ghostbusters
Incredible Hulk (loved the intro, duuuuunnnnnnn duuuuuuuuunnnn, duuunnn dunnn duuuuunnn duuunnn....HULK!!)
Looney Tunes
Rude Dog & The Dweebs
Sharky & George (the crimefighters of the sea, do do do do do)
Star Trek: The Animated Series
Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles
Thundercats
Top Cat
Trap Door (not technically a cartoon, but what the hell - don't you open that Trap Door, there's somthing down there!)
Ulysses 31
Visionaries
Wacky Races
X-Men (best comic book series ever, and what a kick ass intro!)

Re: Retro Cartoons....
Bootaaay, I still watch Danger Mouse and Count Duckula whenever they're on, unlike many other cartoon shows. Some of my favourite shows:

That's enough of that
PS - I didn't differntiate between dubbed anime and 'standard' animation back then.

Rocko's Modern Life was awesome, but in retrospect, it was actually a really depressing cartoon.
