I've Finally Snapped.

Okay, in the past, I've expressed annoyance towards console fanboys, but this is it, I've finally fucking lost it. The fanboys have finally done something so biased, so arrogant, that I've gone from annoyed to downright PISSED. Allow me to explain. You may have heard that Namco's RPG, Tales of Vesperia, was being ported to the PS3 with extra features. When I heard about this, I was actually quite excited. Some of the features, like full voice acting, sound like awesome additions. So, I started to look for US localization rumors, and came across a site that had quite a few articles about it. They seemed to have a noticable PS3 bias, but I didn't let it get to me, and kept on happily reading. All I want to do is enjoy my PS3, 360, [and Wii] in peace, without fanboys yelling in my ears everytime I look on the internet. Oh, and the article's not even the worst part; look at the comments section. It's a sea of inane yammering, filled with go-nowhere arguements and one-word posts. This is the last straw; I don't think I can even enjoy ANY current-gen game anymore, without having fanboys screaming about it every 5 damn seconds! I'm sick of this; and I just can't take it anymore.

2 things.

1 These comments are probably a bunch of 14 year olds, so just ignor them dude. Fanboys are never gonna go away neither will there stupidity. So dont let it bother you man!

2 make sure to tell people that the Ads on that site are NSFW!!!!

Sorry, I'll edit the post to add the warning. I guess it never crossed my mind; I was blinded by rage. Also, I have Adblock in my browser, so I didn't know if there were bad ads or not. Sorry again.

Pffft... PS3 has no games. Just get a 360 it's 1000000 times better, I only get a red ring once a month.

I have always hated when you buy a game on one system thinking it is an exclusive then later a better version is coming out on another platform. RE4 comes to mind and Sonic mega collection. Both were suppose to be gamecube exclusives then later versions with more added come out on the PS2. I ended up having to buy the games twice to feel i had the complete package.

I am Ok on people being fanboys. Some times its good to believe in something no matter what. Its like patriotism the only reason you are a patriot is because you are born there or later move there. A lot of times its not based on facts but on an almost brand driven loyalty. Why do you love your family? You probably could not stand them if you met them on the streets and they were not related, or then again maybe you would.

You should not let it bother you everybody has something they feel this passion for. For some its religion, brand names, family, country, nationality and many other things. Its like trying to explain love, some things just click despite facts or reason.

I am glad there are those that hate what I like, It makes me feel more like me with my own taste and desires not one of the same. It would be a very uncreative world if everyone felt the same about everything, no suprises.

Dont snap at least they are releasing the game. I know which one I am getting. Good thing I didnt get the game when it first came out. It takes me awhile before I play an RPG again like 5-8 years.

Eh, don't let it get to you. The bottom line is that you'll get a choice of what system to play this game on. If anything, you know not to check out that site for game information since it's a fanboy cesspool.

Thanks, I've calmed down a bit now. By the way, is there any word on this game being localized at all? I was never able to find a definite answer.
