If you have an AMD Dual Core machine, READ THIS!!

A lot of my games stutter. This is partly because I am trying to play modern games on a laptop that wasn't really designed for gaming, but I found out that part of the problem is also that many games are finicky with AMD dual core processors. If you have an AMD dual core machine, then you should download and install this optimizer:

So many of my games run smoothly now thanks to this download, and this fully saved me with Street Fighter IV where I would frequently get choppy jittery matches where the lag was so bad I couldn't even do a lot of the basic special moves some of the time because it would start having a fit and lose track of the inputs. It has also improved performance on other games like Zeno Clash & Bioshock.

Yeah it really helps. You can just search for it on their support website and it'll come up. Helped me with games like Street Fighter IV and completely cleared up my problems with Grand Theft Auto IV.

I just got an athlon x2 machine not too long ago and needed this. Helps a lot with other things too. I occasionally write music and the timing of the cores were off so It caused everything to mess up. Now everything runs smoothly.
