Incredible beat boxing

This isn't game related, but it will appeal to the technology geek in you.



This is a video of a beatboxer making an entire multi-part song of himself performing as every instrument in realtime. This is a technique (largely pioneered by Kid Beyond) where the beat boxer makes beats with their mouth, but records them into loops using footpedals to control MIDI messages and effects that run through a laptop. I've seen Kid Beyond do this live and it is incredible to witness. This guy's name is Dub FX and his song "Step On My Trip" is a particularly brilliant use of the technique.

Loving it. This is the future of electronic music. Live performance is a realm rarely ventured down by most electronic outfits, content with just having their track played live by a DJ. It's always nice to see an electronic artist perform solo, especially in this way, it's like watching an artist paint a picture, but with sound.

Utilizes the same idea of performing every instrument in realtime, which I've been seeing in clubs for 7-10 years now. Although, I haven't been to a club in at least a year.
