N64 shoot em ups?

Post by pepharytheworm »

I recently purchased "Star Solider Vanishing Earth"; I quite enjoyed it. Having sparked my interest, I began searching the internet to see what other shoot em ups are on the N64. To no avail I could find no other. So hoping others have better resources, does anybody know what other shoot em ups, if any, are on the N64? It doesn't matter the region.

I dont mean FPS, 3rd Person shooters, or Rails shooters.

Yea that's it stateside.

There are 2 other shooters for the n64(both are great and JPN region).

Bangaiou and Dezaemon 3D. Both can be had for about $50 each.

Just don't forget that Bangai-O can be had for DC and DS (slightly updated) as well for cheaper.

*edit

There's also Space Invaders for N64. It doesn't look very good though.

I picked up the Bangai-O DS port at a Target for $5 in a clearance bin a few months back. It's definitely worth checking out!

I figured that would be it. Man so only one true shumps for the N64. Bangi-O is in a genre all of its own and dezaemon is a build your own shooter game. There is more rpgs on the N64 and I thought that was the genre it had least amount of games for.

Bangai-O Spirits for DS is very different from Bangai-O for N64/DC.
