GameTrailers Retrospectives
Generally, I enjoy Gametrailers' Retrospectives videos, but I think they have taken a sharp downturn recently. They've started moving towards less significant series, and their latest video is about ONE FREAKIN' GAME! And the game's not even historically relevant, since it just came out. Just so you know, the game is Batman: Arkham Asylum, a game which I feel Eidos payed off every major game reviewer to rave about. [It's good, but just laughable compared to the caliber of the other series GT has retrospectives on.] Anyway, I really think GT should do retrospectives on more meaningful series, like Megaman, Sonic, or if they had the endurance, Mario.

their Final Fantasy Retrospective was really good, and it got me into playing FF 12.
but yeah the rest of their retrospectives are a joke. their mario kart RS, is basically people saying how much they like mario kart, the gta ones are what a youtube using, 12 year old kid would make, and they even left their warcraft retrospective unfinished (they were going to analyse the lore, but it seams it was too much effort for them)

The Zelda Retrospective was the best. I didn't watch all of the Final Fantasy ones but I'm going to watch them all tonight maybe.
Re: GameTrailers Retrospectives
FF and zelda are enjoyable, i felt like i could have been watching AVGN or something on the other ones but no fart jokes happened.

It was pretty good, enlighten me on the final fantasies I haven't played. I haven't watched any other but they should stick with series similar to FF in scale.ZeroAX wrote:their Final Fantasy Retrospective was really good, and it got me into playing FF 12.
