GBA SuperCard is a tight fit?

I just got my GBA SuperCard MiniSD in the mail. And the first thing I notice is that it's tiiiight when it's inserted into the GBA slot. I mean I reaaaallly have to pull to get it out. Closer inspection shows that the top and bottom of the cart aren't like glued together like a normal GBA cart. They're kind of touching and obviously they're screwed together at the top but I'm wondering if I should try to use a little scotch tape or clamp it down with superglue or something to kind of make it more snug. I'm just worried that struggling to yank it out over and over will break it. Anyone else have similar issues?

I remember most of the regular SD ones were hard to get in and out. Never had that problem with the MiniSD ones. It never seemed to cause any damage to the cart or GBA , even tho I once had to use a pair of pliers to get one out of my SP.

It doesn't look like this would survive pliers. Though I ordered from Deal Extreme, it almost looks as if this was used. Like someone already took it apart to replace the battery or something?

My first Supercard was that way. TIGHT. But I got around it by leaving it in the slot and just pulling out the minisd whenever required. The other 2 supercards my family has fits nicely though, guess it depends on your luck which build you get.

Have read on the web that some people file down the sides to fit it better into the slot. You may wish to try that if you're inclined. Maybe tighten the screws see if it helps?

If it seems used, maybe you would like to address the issue with dealextreme?
