I Finally Beat Super Mario Bros.
I was always a bit ashamed to say it, but before today, I had never beaten Super Mario Bros. I had beaten all of the other Mario platformers, but never the very first one. But let the record show that on this day, at exactly 10:05 AM, I saw that damn Bowser fall into the lava for the LAST TIME. I feel like a new man.

Good for you. SMB1 is by far the hardest of the Mario platformers. And the only I've never beaten myself.

Nice work.
I've managed to complete the Game Boy and All-Stars ports but I've still not managed the original on VC.
I'm going to use your success to spur me on in my continued efforts.

Congrats! I doubt I can do it anymore, but I think this is the only game my Mom ever beat....I take that back! She destroyed Doom on 32x many times.

Yeah, that game sucks (in a good way). Isn't the "Lost Levels" version made easier than the original FDS version?fast wrote:Play the real Mario 2 noiseredux. Itll redefine hard for you. Stupid stage C-3
Re: I Finally Beat Super Mario Bros.
I can usually beat it fairly quickly everytime i play. It doesnt seem hard to me, guess all of the childhood hours I put into it paid off. Someone told me I couldnt beat it about 2 weeks ago so I pulled it out and beat it only dying once.
