Saturn question
Saturn question
Is the 3D controller required for some games? I've been thinking about getting a Saturn.

Re: Saturn question
Nope, its completely optional. Although it is recommended for any game that supports it. Especially NiGHTSnewt42 wrote:Is the 3D controller required for some games? I've been thinking about getting a Saturn.

Re: Saturn question
The analog stick makes it a great controller for Panzer Dragoon I & II

Re: Saturn question
It's not required but as mentioned works great with NiGHTS into Dreams...

You won't regret getting it. It makes some games control so much better.

Re: Saturn question
Plus it's actually quite a nice feeling controller. I've been using it to play non-analog games lately just because my other controllers are currently boxed up and it feels good enough that I don't feel the need to switch out.ArwingCmdr wrote:You won't regret getting it. Yeah, it's a bit of a precursor to the Dreamcast controller in a lot of ways.General Chaos wrote:Plus it's actually quite a nice feeling controller. The standard Saturn controller is still good for more old-school games though.

Re: Saturn question
The resemblance to the dreamcast controller is uncanny. I agree also about the standard controller. I really like the smaller Saturn controller for 2-D fighters (The one that came with the round button saturn)racketboy wrote:Yeah, it's a bit of a precursor to the Dreamcast controller in a lot of ways.General Chaos wrote:Plus it's actually quite a nice feeling controller.
