Look at this con artist

Post by Niode »

Just been looking for DC bundles on ebay. Found this beauty.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 813wt_1056

Apparently he's selling two copies of Shenmue 2, yet there's no cardboard sleeve and only two boxes.

Now here's where it get's interesting, in the UK we got a cardboard sleeve and two standard PAL DC cases containing all four discs. They have identical inserts and even have identical manuals. (IE like this auction has)

I've asked him to clarify but I'm not holding my breath. However if this auction actually goes for around £50 and it actually contains two complete copies of Shenmue 2 I'll be gutted. Since I could sell em both on and make a a bit of profit or at least break even (I already have a mint copy).

I have to think that you're right and that there's only one copy of Shenmue. He's probably confused or don't remember that they were part of a set.

I put £40 on it and didn't win it. Ah well. Probably wasn't worth the hassle if it didn't include both copies which judging from the shady description was probably correct.

what sort of bundles are you looking for? I need to offload some DC stuff.

I have both Shenmues for the DC and both have the cardboard etc, not for sale unless someone offers me a great price.

To be honest I'm just looking for some bundles of DC games just to beef up my collection. I don't tend to buy single games for retro systems purely because it's not worth it, it costs too much in the long run, I only buy singles if it's a particularly rare game that never turns up in bundles.

Tell me what you've got and what you're willing to get rid of in bulk and I'll offer you a price (granted they're all in good condition).
