Charity Event: 72-Hour Mega Man Marathon

Post by Overload »

TheSpeedGamers are at it again, this time with a 72-hour Mega Man marathon. TheSpeedGamers are a group of people who do gaming marathons for charity. They complete a game series as quickly as possible in the time they give themselves. During the marathon, they accept donations for various charities. In the past they've played 12 marathons and have raised over $83,000. The marathon begins tomorrow, August 14th, at 6pm cst. This marathon will be benefiting The Earth Day Network. Here is a list of the games being played:

Mega Man 1-3
Mega Man 4-6
Mega Man 7-8
Mega Man 9
Mega Man 64 (Legends)
Mega Man Legends 2
Mega Man and Bass
Mega Man X-X3
Mega Man X4-X6
Mega Man X7
Mega Man X8
Mega Man X Command Mission
Mega Man Network Transmission
Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue

Other games may be played or replayed with spare time.

Weird how battle network 3 blue is just randomly in that mix. Legends 1 and 2 and Command Mission will also surely be some timesinks. The rest can be finished pretty damn fast in the right hands.

In related news, I'll be playing video games all weekend long, please donate as much money as possible to me.
All donations will either go to the "Sick But Still Adorable Baby Fund" (aka SBSABF) or the "Buy Luke Beer Fund".

Just remember, if you don't donate, this baby will indeed die.

Plus, I could run out of beer.
