I only just recently got part one. I still need to track down the sequel.

Sums up my feelings quite well. The U.S. release of Yakuza 3 was going to be the day I broke down and bought a PS3. Thank you, Sega, for saving me over $400...

Another failure from Sega. I just miss them being in the console bussiness. I am so dissapointed.... :(

Congrats, SEGA - you just lost out on my business. I would have bought Yakuza 3 or Yakuza: Kenzan in a flash, but you didn't give me that oppertunity. I would have imported them from Hong Kong, if you'd released versions with English subtitles. Between this, and making the next Valkyria Chronicles game for the PSP only, there isn't another SEGA game I could give a damn about, so I guess they'll be getting none of my money in the future which is exactly what they deserve.

They said because 2 didn't sell well that they don't feel like putting the effort forth to bring the 3rd over. But I'm almost certain this would do much much better than the second. It looks amazing and I can't think of any other game of this type that is out on any console right now. I have friends who I showed the earlier trailers for it of Kiryu typing madly on his cellphone, the over the railing physics defying drop kick from behind, the running headbut, and the mad chase scenes. They have the first two games now just so they could pass the time for the third to come out. It will be depressing to tell them that Sega has no plans to bring it over. The series is so enjoyable and has THE MOST SATISFYING combat I've ever played. ARRRRRRRRRGHALSD;KALKSJFDASLKJ. I suppose I'm going to have to learn japanese.

Isn't PS3 region free anyway?

At least Yakuza fans can import number 3. Shenmue fans have nothing, NOTHING!
