Hello everybody,
I'm looking to purchase one of these two portable NES-playing consoles. The original FC Mobile is around 20 dollars cheaper than the more recently released Retro Mini X (FC Mobile 2), but I was wondering if anyone here owns either of these machines. The Retro Mini X comes with 2 wireless SNES-style controllers and AV cables to hook up the machine to a tv. The original FC Mobile comes with AV cables, but no controllers. Their screen sizes are the same, 2.5 inches, approx. I guess it really comes down to the button layout, what would you all recommend that I invest in?
Here's some pics of them- http://technabob.com/blog/wp-content/up ... rtable.jpg ----- FC Mobile

Thanks so much,

If you like playing anything 2 player, or light gun games you are better off buying the new one.
So yeah... if you have copies of contra, hogan's ally, and ninja turtles arcade laying around spend the extra cash, get the newer one.
If, however, you are just going to sit by yourself and play your copy of final fantasy, the legend of zelda and kirby's adventure- you could go with the cheaper guy. Though, i bet it is kinda silly to hook it up to a tv and use it as a controller.

The FC Mobile 2 has a better button layout. If you look closely on the FC Mobile, you can see that the B and A buttons are reversed. By the way, I don't think these machines play Famicom games, despite saying that in the name itself, so keep that in mind.

Plus I know the FC Mobile 2 can be hooked up to a tv to play... not sure about the other one.Inazuma wrote:The FC Mobile 2 has a better button layout.
