Random Japanese Pictures (56K DEATH)

Post by hashiriya1 »

Hello. I always carry my crappy digital camera wherever I go. I take random pictures for no reason.
I've been in Japan a long time, but I am still sometimes fascinated by some things, even trivial things.

Here are just a few random pics I've taken while walking or driving around. Enjoy!
Some pictures will have a small description above the photo, some speak for themselves.

This is why the small car is king in Tokyo.

The Expressways are NOT cheap!

It cost me 4,200 yen ($45) to drive about 50 miles.
BUt now I have an electronic toll paying device, which gives you a huge discount.

Cool.

Is that your daughter?

Also that chibi MegaMan in the pic of kids playing retro looks like it came out of Invader Zim!

Thanks for sharing.
I don't know why, but I find the sight of lowriders on the streets of Japan fascinating 8)

My bad  , the 2AM delirium is starting to set in and I'm getting a bit punchy as I've been up for about 20 hours.

EDIT: Fixed screwed up quotes.

I love shots like that of Japan. It's absolutely gorgeous to me, especially when overcast like most of those. Too bad it's so expensive, though I hear the more rural provinces can be much cheaper. How's Aomori? I always wanted to see the boiling sulfur pools at Osorezan. Figure a good look at Hell might do me some good.
