Favorite/Most Useful ROM Sites

Post by blackmagepwns »

I've got a selection I go to myself, though they sometimes seem to be lacking what I'm looking for, What sites do you frequent/prefer?

Romulation. Had an account idle there for 2 years and when I went back to it I find I have 19000 "points" to download with...

With each point being worth 1MB thats a lot of download of GBA, NDS, PS1, Saturn or Dreamcast roms!

Emuasylum is what I use now, though I don't emulate very often. Back around 2001-2002, I would use a website known as the Cult of Kefka, though unfortunately it appeared to have been wiped out over five years ago. Shame too, they had some really good stuff back in the day, in English if it was available.

Man, that takes me back. Cult of Kefka was fantastic.

http://www.doperoms.com/
has ROMs that actually work on emulators. My only problem with it is that scrolling through the list until you find what your looking for can be a real pain in the ass.
EDIT: Their site randomly stops working on certain days. Simply getting there is a crap shoot.
EDIT: It also has a tendency to suck a lot.

is really nice, but I've had some trouble getting some of their ROMs to work.

I've heard has some PSX roms. Haven't quite tried it out yet.

All right, I'm surprised I've never heard of that site.

Thanks.

this i find to be one of the best

I am not sure why, but most of roms and the such have bad websites and files that hardly work. I know i get it for free, but I am willing to pay if I don't have to go through the hassle of visiting multiple websites and multiple downloads
