Z64 not starting up.

I know this is a long shot but have any z64 owners out there experienced their unit not responding when turned on. The unit I have turns on just fine, spins up the disc, but i get no start up screen. any help is appreciated even tho i know this is a fairly uncommon item.

Check the video connection cables on your system. It's a common error to check for.

I should have been a little more clear the LCD on the Z64 only dislplays a row of black bars. Never goes past that.
