I'm going to start with Elevator Action Returns. A great upgrade to the old classic with nice graphics and three characters to choose from. It got a port on the Saturn if I'm not mistaken.

Yup! It got a Saturn port and a PS2 port on the Taito Memories collection.

What about all the famous beat-em-ups like The Simpsons, X-Men, and TMNT?

actually I can't remember much other than metal slug and michael jackson, I also would love to play the simpsons, I think it is the one where Bart hits people with his skate board
