Wii Would Like to Play

Post by racketboy »

Rumored to be the first Wii TV ad, many believe it's just an internal presentation.
Cool nonetheless and would make a good ad spot:

Even if isn't a comercial, it makes a lot more sense than the PS3 commercials... :?

I hate the PS3 commercials.

I saw one where the PS3 is sitting in a room with a rubix cube and the PS3 levitates it, solves it and then makes it explode painting each wall a different colour. Across the screen it says:

Cell Processing
It's Smarter

...

Dreamcast
It's Thinking

...

GASP!

My fav was the "Out smarting it... will only make it smarter... It's Thinking" and then a DC spiral appears on the screen and the release date.

At least Nintendo has the balls to show what their games actually look like. Big love for that.

Now I like THIS one! cute lady, and ridiculousily ironic!!!!

of course I don't think it is a REAL nintendo commercial though.

and this one is damn freakin' cute

aside from these commercials, this is the first time in my life Nintendo (or any console asid from Sega Genesis and Dreamcast) actually WOW'd me. It looks to me like a great pick up and play for a few minutes kinda system. I don't game much anymore, not as much as I'd wish to due to all the other things I spend my time doing. I don't want long drawn out crap anymore with confusing controls and wasted fluff. I've got RPGs for that and I play them one at a time over VERY long sittings (been on my second run through of PS4 for the last 2 years).

Then again I don't even plan on buying ANY console merely for the fact I own hundreds of videogames I've yet to beat... why waste my money.

But that's me.

Neither are official. But the Wind Waker one is obviously the best fan-made game advertisement of all time, no contest. It's flawless.

Also, crispier version over at the guy's blog:
