Need help finding Sega Saturn model 2 mod chip...

Post by Zildjinn »

I'm looking for a modchip for my model 2 Saturn. Seemingly impossible to find online (at least for me). Can anyone help me out?

I'm curious. How do you go about finding a manufacturer of mod chips?

To be honest, I don't remember how I found them -- I've just been working with them for years now.

Did this company come up with the modchip design or did they just copy an existing design? I guess if you have a design, you could just take it to some PCB/chip assembler type place in Hong Kong/China.

I guess the chips came and went since I see lots of people saying they got some at the beginning of the month? Will there be more any time soon?
