Super Mario Galaxy 2

Post by ZeroAX »

And yes. As a huge fan of the original this is my favourite part of ninty's e3. A new mario galaxy on the wii and the first time a second 3d mario on the same console. This + new mario bross wii = happiness for a platforming nut like me :D

The otherwise boring conference was redeemed by this. This is the first time Nintendo's made a direct sequel to one of the 3D Mario's, and Galaxy was quite possibly the best game they've ever made, so I'm excited. No sign of a date but I presume it's not until sometime in 2010, seeing as New Super Mario Bros Wii is the main Xmas release this year.

I wasn't a huge fan of Galaxy, but judging by the preview this looks like it could be as much of an improvement as Super Mario Bros. 3 was to the original Super Mario Bros. Or perhaps I'm reading into things too much. It still looked impressive, in any event.

Same here, I'm excited to have two 3d Mario platformers on one system and a side scroller. Nintendo had a pretty good E3 this year.

Between Mario and Samus, I'm pretty excited for the Wii.
