Can you burn downloaded Saturn games and then play them dirrectly with SSF?

Yeah, you can play real games and backups through the cd-rom drive. Although, if you just want to use them in SSF, load the iso in a virtual drive

I have a modded Saturn but, I may have to try this and see how good it works. Although my PC is going on 3 years old now it.

SSF certainly shows promise in terms of compatibility, but still has a long way to go in terms of performance and ease of use. Part of that is because the app is both Japanese and closed source, but if the lack of speed is due to the awkward Saturn hardware, then that is something that can't really be helped, although I'm sure systems as powerful as we have nowadays can pretty easily take care of all that with some intelligent coding.
It just takes time, knowledge and dedication, which a lot of people lack due to the Saturn's lack of popularity compared to other systems.
