Project ICO's next big thing: Project Trico

Post by J T »

So it looks like maybe you solve puzzles with an oversized cat-bird for a pet. It could be good. The music in the trailer is lame though.

Here's to hoping they can keep the magic of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus alive in the third iteration.

If the game is as good as the trailer makes it out to be I might be getting a PS3 (especially if Beyond Good and Evil 2 is multiplatform which I think it is. I saw this video on another forum and the 360/PS3 fanboy comments were ridiculous, was it ever this bad last console gen?. Also, it seems like there have been a lot of "leaked" things lately.

I'm really excited. Even though it's STILL going to be a while, this is the game I bought my PS3 for. Also, I'm pretty sure the music from this is from the Cohen brothers film Miller's Crossing.

I might have to go back and play ICO again....

So far, I don't like it at all. This is not my SOTC sequel. At least now I know there's never going to be a reason for me to buy a PS3.

My God in heaven. This looks insane. I thought SOTC was an experience more than a game (that's how much I loved it) and I have faith in the creators to come up with another masterpiece. Brings my list up to 4 games worth getting a PS3 for.

I almost don't want a sequel to that since the first one was SO amazing, I mean how can they top themselves and I'm scared they'll fail.

They won't top their selves. That much is certain. Even though SOTC is probably my favorite last gen game, I can still see it's flaws. I really consider SOTC to be somewhat of an accidental masterpiece.
