Nintendo custom shells?

Post by alienjesus »

Is there anywhere you can recommend that makes new shells for nintendo consoles. I'd love to have a full set of clear consoles (like the old game boy pockets) but obviously i cant just paint my console that colour. I think the Nintendo 64 was the only home console to be released in clear colours, so i'd need shells for a NES, SNES and GC (can't afford a second wii to do it on :P). Handhelds would be good too. A DS fat shell would be really cool, as my old ones a bit trashed anyhow.

Sorry, I cant help
Just wondering why you like clear so much? I mean, I liked things like that when they first came out in the early 90s, but my opinion changed quickly as the look got old to me.

im not really sure, i just think they look unique, and kinda funky :)

maybe because the first console i ever bought for myself (not the first i owned though) was a clear game boy pocket, i always kinda liked the style.

I like jet matte black, transparant things just look dirty after a while.

I think with the clear things, I think it would be cool if it had moving parts... or something going on in the inside.. I dunno, for some reason I seem to like systems how they come. I tend to think black consoles are the best, followed by white, then grey/silver.

i generally prefer black if i choose a system (although i had no problem with nintendo's temporary purple/indigo obsession) but i just thought it'd be cool to have some clear consoles again
