Madcatz SF Fight Stick and MAME

I'm having difficulty setting up my SF SE 360 Fight Stick with MAME and Kawaks. Specifically, I'm unable redefine keys with the stick. I couldn't find any proper drivers to try and fix this problem. All my other emulators work perfectly with the stick though, so it may just be my ineptitude with the Arcade emulators causing my problems. Any suggestions?

you ought be able to do it a couple ways, the easiest should be by pressing "tab" while in game, and selecting the option to configure controls (either for all games or just that particular rom). highlight and select each option using your keyboard, and after selecting the action you should be able to press the button on the joystick itself to map it.


you can also map your joystick to control the menus and select functions, in the UI settings.

Wow, fail on my part. I completely forgot about the TAB button. Thanks a bunch.
It seems Kawaks just has some problems with newer sticks from what I've read.
