XBL update for Raiden Fighters Aces JPN

So I finally agreed to let Raiden fighters Aces update; I've always been paranoid that they'd do some sort of region lockout on my machine.

Anyway, one of the updates was the introduction of Free Play. I'm a little on the fence about this, as it kind of cheapens the achievements I had up to this point. Now they're much easier to get. On the other hand, it makes other achievements I haven't earned accessible, like completing the Expert Modes.

I'm assuming free play will be standard on the US release. And honestly, if they had just made it standard on the Japanese version, it wouldn't be an issue now.

Which makes it strange that they'd even offer updates to US live account holders... looks like MS has some love for us.
