TurboGrafx-16 Video Cable

Post by andymol21 »

Woops,

I often put in "Best Offer" bids on eBay WAY below the asking price just to see what the seller does with them. (my favourite was 0.99p for a car, the seller actually contacted me to see if I was serious...)

Anyway, I put in a bid of £20 on a brand new (box opened but still in the bag) TurboGrafx-16 as I thought it was worth WAY more than that... Turns out the seller has 22 of them and is selling them off, so he accepted my offer. Bad times.

Still I'm resigned to the fact that I'm now the proud owner of a TG-16, but it comes without a power adapter or video cable... Anyone know what the rating for the AC adpter is, and what the pin out for the video cable is?

I would need composite for my setup, rather than the RF I expect it to require!!!

You need to get a turbo booster or mod the console to use anything other than RF. On the bright side, you got an awesome console. I love breaking out some TG16 goodness.

Ouch! Didn't see that, guess this is just for the UK Racketboyers!

Good times for me now!

Just read secret 15 on this page (http://nfggames.com/games/pce/) and it says that the TG16 in Europe was fitted so it could output AV from the box!

OMG WANT!

£20 you say?!

I'm fucking there man, I'm buying this now.

Edit:
Blah, he rejected my offer of £20 and then an offer of £23 and then an offer of £25. Blah.

Is it worth buying at £34.99 + 4.99 (apparently it comes with a mystery TG16 game.) It's a bit of a bummer about the lack of cables, how much does it cost to pick em up separately?
