Any converters for Gamecube controllers on other consoles?
Any converters for Gamecube controllers on other consoles?
There are heaps of converters for using PS2 controllers on Gamecubes and Xboxs, but I haven't yet spotted anything for using Gamecube controllers on anything else. Imagine how good using a Wavebird for Super Mario 64 would be

Apologies for not being very helpful, but one doesn't have to imagine how Super Mario 64 would be with a wavebird. Virtual console yo. It has a much better picture too.

Well I have a 3 in 1 adapter that has GC, DC and PS2 to USB. I use my Gamecube pad on Cave Story... Don't really know why though as its always a hassle to set up.

I understand. The Wii is the only current gen system I have, and it was a gift from my parents right before I moved out of the house. (Most) 'Retro' gaming is just way cheaper than shelling out 60 USD for whatever new game comes out.Paul_B-C wrote:equalsign, some of us are poor bastards who are still a console generation behind
Heck. When I got my tax return I went game shopping and got (all complete) Panzer Dragoon Orta (Xbox), Sonic Adventure (DC), Star Wars Episode One Racer (DC), TimeSplitters 2 (Xbox), Timesplitters: Future Perfect (Xbox), American McGee's Scrapland (Xbox), Star Wars: KotOR (Xbox), Cold Fear (Xbox), and a new DC VMU for less than the price of a new 360 or PS3 game.
It's hard dealing with the hype when the internet and your friends are raging about some new game. That's why I come here. It helps me resist the urges
When I get my next paycheck I'm going to be looking into getting one of those N64 Hori Mini Pads and could keep you posted if I find a way to do so.
