Great pull, Racketboy. I played this through back in the waning days of the Sega CD, and I'm aching to play it again and see how well it's stood the test of time. Only problem is that I'm moving on Saturday, so my free time is really tight. I'll have to jump in with some proper feedback later. But what struck me most about Snatcher back in the day was the tension in each scene, always being on guard for the sudden switch from classic point-and-click adventure gameplay to real-time shooting segments. Of course the story was pretty (f&^%ing) unbelievably good, too.

The fact that Snatcher is one of my favorite games is what brought me to Racketboy in the first place. Great piece about the game. The voice acting in Snatcher was my first experience with decent voice acting in video games and because of this, my favorite aspect of Snatcher is it's ability to be raw and realistic, and the amazing level of immersion.

I didn't do anything for the first two days I owned this game. I can't wait to play Policenauts in English.

I just played through snatcher on the sega cd about 6 months ago and i have to say it stands the test of time.I never played it when it came out so it wasn't nostalgia(although i am a Hideo nut)and yes,it steals from blade runner,body snatchers and terminator alot but,damn that was one hell of a game! I would die for a sequel on the ps3 with the mgs4 engine(Like the third chapter)or just a remake.Well,Hope you guys enjoy playing through snatcher as much as i did.i am eagerly anticipating the release for the policenauts patch..........c'mon guys.

To this day this is one of my all time favorite games and one of the reasons why I purchased a Sega CD when I was younger (Wing Commander being the other.) I was really amazed at the voice acting in this game considering this came out at the time of horrible FMV video games. The atmosphere and story really drew me into the game world and kept me coming back for more. I haven't played this all the way through in about 10 years so I'm going to be looking forward to giving it another chance. Now I'm just debating if I want to play through the MSX Fan Translation and skip out on the voice acting and ACT 3 to check out the original release or load up the Sega CD ISO and get all nostalgic.

Snatcher is one of my favs on Sega CD if not best reason to own a Sega CD at least for me besides a few RPG's and shumps..

Easily the best or at least one of the best sega cd games. I prefer this over kojimas other works (metal gear games) and look forward to trying the policenauts game everyone keeps talking about. Wish I had the time to play through this again but I have so many other games and things to mess with

Oh no kidding. I played Snatcher about 2 years ago, ended up getting stuck at an action sequence right near the end (I think). Good excuse to give it another go. Especially with the Policenauts translation potentially entering beta soon.
