Goo Be Gone on SNES boxes
Goo Be Gone on SNES boxes
I recently acquired a SNES game CIB. The box had a price tag on it. I managed to peel it off but there is a black residue that is pretty noticeable. I have some Goo Be Gone lying around the house but I don't think it will be safe to apply to the SNES box. Has any one try this before and can give me some insight?

Re: Goo Be Gone on SNES boxes
I used some goo gone on my chrono trigger box where there was some sticker residue and it did not damage the box at all. Just be gentle and don't use to much goo gone and your box should be allright.

Just use very minimum amt and youll be ok. I have used that stuff and I have also had success with lighter fluid. just need to be patient and not use to much stuff to get the adhesive off.

Goo Gone works wonders on sticky residue of those stickers/labels..
