Sports and Racing Forum?
Just curious to see if anyone thinks we should do a sports forum or potentially a racing forum..... I spend a lot of time friends playing the latest racing games and definitely sports games. I am sure I am not the only person on here who plays this stuff, it does seem like a lot of people however play a lot of shmups, rpgs, and action adventure games. I could be wrong... just seeing if maybe there is enough interest to possibly get forums made for this.

Re: Sports and Racing Forum?
Well we've created and removed several "sub-genre" forums here over the years. A lot of them usually don't get much activity so they just get removed.
As you said we have a lot of RPG and sh'mup fans here. So those forums last. And still they aren't the most active here really.
It could be something racket could take into mind, but I wouldn't hold my breathe. Maybe this thread could shine some light on the members who would actually enjoy it.

You know what would be awesome? A forum that just has an archived copy of every story Duct has ever told.

It's a skill, I am the master of fitting a story into any situation.
Like this one time on a forum I fit a story into a discussion about a "sports genre" forum.
... wait... deja vu!

I can barely get myself to finish one of them, let alone all of them.
Though, I guess having them all bundled up would be convenient- I could bookmark it, and hopefully complete it before I die!

Yea I wasn't aware that there has been some of these ideas tried.... I just thought I would check the interest in it, but it doesn't seem like too many people care whether or not there is a respective forum for these genres.

Re: Sports and Racing Forum?
there should be a forum for people to request forums
Re: Sports and Racing Forum?
I think a suggestions forum would be a good thing. We could have all suggestions for the store and site in one handy place.
But to be on topic, I do not believe we have a big enough fanbase of the genres to keep one active.

If we were to do that, why not make it a forum for all suggestions, be it related to the store, the forums, or even suggestions for future articles?
And yeah, the current three see some action, but they're not as active as we would like. Maybe if we get a few thousand more users...

I was kidding.Ack wrote:If we were to do that, why not make it a forum for all suggestions, be it related to the store, the forums, or even suggestions for future articles?
On the other hand, maybe we should have a forum to discuss whether or not we need specific forums to discuss/propose future forums.
