portable nes actually looks pretty cool.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

portable nes actually looks pretty cool.

ok ok- it is made by the "FC" company which means.... as far as the plastics are concerned, probably pretty cheap. However- this beast of a rig just looks too good for me to pass up. Check this thing out!

original kotaku article

you are reading that image right. Not only will it play nes carts on the go, but you can plug it into your TV and play with wireless controllers AND gun. It'll go on sale in May, should retail for around $60, and comes in two colours, black and white.

at 60 bucks you can't really go wrong. I'll be cautiously optimistic and waiting to see reviews. Needless to say, my copy of hogens ally is itchin to throw some cans at me.

My only concern is the extremely large carts.

Yeah it'll be an eyegrabber from passer bys. But do you really want people constantly asking you "OH LORDY! What in the gay is that???", every time you're trying to speed through Metroid.

I've got my GP2X and a 2gig SD card. Load up a ton of games and an NES emulator and I'm good to go. And yes the GP2X can also hook up to your tv.

If the wireless controllers aren't just some suck IR ones I would pick this up.

The day I even begin to remotely care if these disgusting beings called "human" think "what the gay is that?"... overdose me with opiates. It might even be fun to play in wierd places just to see what kind of reaction you get from these simple animals.

Cant wait to get one! Maybe a neo geo one someday!

Here's 100cc's of Heroin coming right up.

Anticipating the reactions of these "simple animals" is "caring what these disgusting beings think".

Yeah- i can emulate games on my iphone for fucks sake, but i don't think that the point of the hardware is to save space. It is to play old nes carts for people who have a nostalgic connection to them. And then, make it portable if they want it to be.

I think that your 'only concern' is actually the point of the product. Throwing this out there: maybe this guy isn't for ya.
