Usually, a good flash game introduces some unique concept or well designed control scheme, but they don't bother too much with the graphics, leaving those to the big budget games instead. Scary Girl is probably the first flash game I've played where the graphics were a focal point. The style is great and the animation is lovely. The game itself is just ok, but it's worth checking out just to see that a flash game can look really good if it wants to. Check it out:

...No one? Usually Flash games don't have great graphics is usually because the developer doesn't know how to make good vector graphics so they just make some auto shapes and just move on to the ActionScript.J T wrote:Who says flash games can't have good graphics?
Flash games with good visuals are not uncommon. Professionally-made Flash games usually look like some of the prettier 2D games of today. Ether War looks really good to me.
