It's refurbished, but for a 360 with hdmi and a hard drive, that's not a bad price for someone who's been waiting for one on the cheap

Shows the demand for the system at that price point... makes you wonder what the PS3 could do if it was $200.

I still wouldnt by a PS3 at that price point. But after spending an hour with Castle Crashers, I want a 360 prety badly. I dont even want retail games, just Castle Crashers and a couple other Arcade titles.

You wouldnt, but a lot of people would. I think PS3 would fly off shelves at $250 too. Does that mean its the best system? No. Playstation is still a strong brand in the public, most just associate it with being heavily over priced, which makes them associate it with top of the line. According to the general public, more expensive = better most of the time.
Of course, none of this matters because we wont see a $250 PS3 anytime soon. I am however waiting for a new $150 xbox360 with a HDD. :D

Thats true alot of people would. A cheap Bluray player would make it like when the PS2 launched. Not just like since alot of people still dont own HDtvs, but it would move incredibly quickly. I take that back, if GT5 drops and the console is $250, I would probably buy it. I am not that big of a fan of the series and I dont own an HDtv, but I do have access to a G25 steering wheel and the Gran Turismo series is one of the main reason I own a PS2 (first being Jade Cocoon 2).

LOL See!! a $250 PS3 is an easy sell, even to someone who just said moments prior they wouldnt ever do it. Too bad its never going to happen. I think my $150 360 is only a year or so away though :)

Thats why I got mine - for all the great originals and classic remakes on live arcade. Its great playing SF2 in HD! There are also some great titles for xbox 1 like panzer drag orta... too bad metal slug 3 and some other greats arent backwards compatible. I eventually ended up getting a big black box too... for that reason.
