I had no idea. Check this out:

Click all those links for screenshots and such. It's amazing. Not only did they incorporate all the characters exclusive to the non-PC versions, but they also inserted all the characters from X-Men Legends 2 PC Version, as well as an absolute ton of others individually. The only real problem is they've had very little success breaking beyond the game's cast limit of 27. You have to use a tool to swap out official characters with your downloaded ones. It would be amazing if they can figure that out, and combine all the best characters in one well tested pack. Imagine the ability to play this game with a solid 100 marvel characters.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance ~ PC Version's modability is EPIC

Dude, Mysterio and the rest of the Sinister Six! Sweet! There's a lot of characters there I would love to see in action.
Now if only they would make Prowler, Cloak, and Dagger, we could do a Spiderman B-Cast. And Iron Fist needs a Power Man to fight alongside.

That sounds pretty sweet. I played through that game on both the PS2 and the 360, but this certainly makes the PC version sound like a lot more fun. I wonder if the PC version has some of the same annoying bugs and glitches as the consoles versions though. That's been a problem with the whole X-Men Legend series.

I just recently decided to give this series a start. I put in 5 hours on X-Men Legends 1 so far. Loving it really. Load times and sound effect quality are horrible though, as most PS2 multiplatform titles are. Probably should have got both for Gamecube.Gamerforlife wrote:That sounds pretty sweet. I never paid attention to this game because I assumed it was just another cheap brawler like so many bad comic book and movie games. I didn't know it was an action RPG. I might have to try this one out.

I played it on the gamecube and couldn't put it down. Both xmen legends 1 and 2 are great and even better with more than one player playing at the same time. Nothing is more satisfying then taking out an entire room with 3 spread attacks as soon as you walk into it.Mozgus wrote:I just recently decided to give this series a start. I can't say i enjoyed ultimate alliance though. I found the menus to be really clunky and i couldn't easily find what the powerups did. I thought the whole system was a huge step backward and actually made me have the computer level up my characters for me (something i never do) because i just didn't want to deal with it. For all the love of x-men legends i have, they really missed the mark on ultimate alliance. In my opinion.

Are the graphics in this game full 3d or more cell shaded?
Is there another game I might have played that we can compare this too? I'm interested...but I don't know if I'd enjoy it.

X-Men Legends 1 and I think 2 used a very basic, kind of ugly cell shading. MUA doesn't, but on next gen and PC platforms, it can use this shiny lighting effect that is kind of obnoxious, plus even on my top of the line system, it still runs it slow, so I turn it off. Unoptimized port.BigTinz wrote:Are the graphics in this game full 3d or more cell shaded?
