You can now buy all your Xbox Live games off of Amazon, which is nice to avoid the stupid MS points system. I forsee this quickly going to the PSN as well (since they have a similar download code system), but the Wii would require more work. I think it can be done, since it does have the gifting interface, but it would require someone to put their Wii system number in with the order and then Nintendo would gift you the game.

I wonder if they will have any sales. Amazon does an amazing job offering great sales on so many different types of goods; hopefully they can offer some type of deal with XBLA downloads. Even a weekly thing would be amazing.

I hope they bring this feature to the UK. I really despise having to buy MS points. The points don't mean anything to me, I'd rather just pay cash for the games instead of converting points.

If Canada's not on a separate Xbox Live region like Europe and Japan are I don't see why you can't just purchase from Amazon.com and skip Amazon.ca. You might have to dicker with some account settings but otherwise you would be good.

It is true, you can buy from stuff in Canada from Amazon.com. But this type of electronic purchase, I have no idea. And I don't know whether we are classified as a different region or not...

Anyone tried it in Canada?
