Konami games on a Neo Geo arcade system??

Post by NathanBarnatt »

Can I play Konami and other non Neo Geo games on my Neo Geo arcade game? Is it possible? Do I have to solder a bunch of stuff?

you can use any jamma compatible pcb!

for manufacterer select konami.
the games listed might have a jamma connector. If they do you can put them into your mvs cabinet. If they don't have a jamma connector you need to buy or solder a jamma adapter onto the pcb, so it will connect to your jamma adapter in your mvs machine.
Most games after (let's say 1990) have a jamma connector.
Good luck

Technically they will play in an MVS system, but you will likely have to do some button layout work.
The 2,4,6 slot systems are JAMMA.

There are some slight differences in pin layout for the select button and so on.
