How's the picture laggy etc..?
Also don't forget just because it's being upconverted to whatever resolution and converted from component to vga doesn't mean its HD or VGA. If it looked a little muddled before it'll still look muddled now. Also what resolution is your TV? Xbox 1 has the option of displaying in 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 16x9 in the display options section of the dashboard so you ma want to set it at one of those resolutions in conjunction with your VGA upconverter.
