Virtual Boy power issues

Post by alienjesus »

Hi, i recently bought a Virtual Boy. It was imported from the US, and i live in the UK.

it came with 2 controllers (unnecessary i know) but neither came with a battery pack. It also came with an adapter (US) but not adapter tap.

so, after searching for a battery pack, and seeing the crazy prices on those, i managed to find an adapter tap...only its japanese.

will that work with my US virtual boy and adapter?

Finally, will i need to buy a current converty thingmy (technical name) to plug the virtual boy into my UK plug sockets due to the electric system differences?

I am unsure if the JP brick will work on the US VB. However, I do know that you will need a converter for your crazy wall outlets.
