Game Reviews Forum - Collaborative Wonderland

Post by racketboy »

I'm creating this new forum category as a bit of an experiement.
Each thread in this topic will be for discussing one particular game.

However, instead of traditional forum conversations, each post should be in a semi-professional review format.
Each post does not need to be a full review, but maybe the poster would just like to focus on the graphics of a particular game, the gameplay aspect, or its strengths and weaknesses in comparison to another major game in the same genre.

Ideally, it would be nice to discuss games that aren't covered many times over around the Net, so please focus on older games or at least ones that are a bit more obscure.

Let's see how this works out :)

Would you like me to just bring over my reviews ala simple copy and paste?

if possible i´d like to do some reviews on lesser known nes or pce games..and maybe throw in the occasional crap game alert since bad reviews about games are most of the time fun to read :D

I get the impression that it's not going to quite work out like that. Most people will just want to take one point or two from a review, and comment on it. Not many people will want to spend the time writing their own review, once someone else already has in the same thread.

But what about adding a few points here and there that the original author didn't cover?
Or a differences of opinion?

Mmmm -- perhaps a wiki would be a better method for doing this?

Actually, I've been thinking about putting a wiki on here.
So many things to do...
