PLEASE HELP! Question bout a 6 button controller and XBOX360

Hi, sorry about the caps and the vague topic title. I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask, so I might post a similar topic on another board.

Anyway, I'm wondering if this controller will work on my xbox360:

...and I thought this might be a good place to ask.

I ask this because I see that it is a USB controller, so it would fit into the my xbox360 no problem, but I'm not sure if it is compatible. I also ask because I am looking for a good controller to play street fighter 4 with on my 360. The default bad doesn't quite cut it, and I bought the madcatz street fighter 4 pad, and I HATE the d-pad on it. So i am looking for a 6 button alternative with a good d-pad, and this looks like it might fit the bill...

So yea, does anyone know anything about this pad? Is it like a knock off saturn/genesis 6-button pad? Does it only work on PC and PS3 (in auction title, it does say it works for PS3)? Does it work for xbox360?

Any help would be appreciated.

And mods sorry in advance if I post this on another board. I just really want this question answered ASAP, and I feel like someone around here might know...

My guess is probably not. Just a guess though. Anything that would need drivers doesn't work on the xbox unless it was specifically made for the xbox as well.

i'm afraid the madcatz d-pad is your best bet.

The ps3 is much better about this kind of thing, it seems to be a much more "open" system (not really, but with things like this, and in comparison to the 360 it applies). Where as if soemthing was not made for the 360, it will not work on the 360.

Unfortunately no, PS3/PC only. If you bought the fightpad and you don't like the d-pad as you said, i am sorry to say, but you are very limited.

There are two other third-party controllers (as far as i know) one from Hori and another one from MadCatz but both are not designed for fighting games but supposedly have better d-pad than the official 360 controller.

So your options are

1) Get a fightstick. Although if you never played on a stick expect a big learning curve.

2) Get an adapter that converts PS3 compatible controllers so you can use them with the 360. I think only one adapter exists right now for this purpose and it's expensive. Also i heard there is input lag so it's not suited for fighting games. Not recommended at all.

3) Get used to the fightpad. It's probably your best bet. Also you might want to try another fightpad if it's possible, because i heard that some of them have defective d-pads.

4) Pray that Sega releases the Saturn controller for the 360

You mean the sand mod and spacer between the membrane or totally replace the d-pad?

No I mean soldering an arcade stick to a wireless 360 controller.

I've done the d-pad mod on all my 360 controllers and it still sucks for SF2THD:R.
