this has failure written all over it... i do think it'll be a notch above the street fighter movie, but i still think video games should NOT be made into movies mainly due to plots not working out. cartoons though, those will work to some degree. but i think making a movie from a fighting game is a really bad idea. i'd love to see tetris as a movie though :D

Reminds me more of Mortal Kombat minus the whole magic underworld theme. Why in God's name do they continue to try and make Fighters... or video games in general into movies. The only 2 I enjoyed were Resident Evil and Silent Hill... and it isn't to say they were good movies anyways!

Not saying it was good... I just had fun in the first one.

Never would PAY for it though... only free fun. But watching Jovavich (sp?) run around and shoot zombies is just fun and hot. I don't know why but Anderson (the director) is one of my shameful/sinful pleasures. I enjoy watching crap like "Event Horizon", "AVP", "RE", "Mortal Kombat"... but crap is he an awful AWFUL director. (AVP is low on the bearable list because he screwed WAY to much with the Alien timeline).

Oh. Well I think that woman is repulsive in everything she does. I just get the impression that she smells, lol.

I've probably never given a movie any points for having "hot" women in it, but I have given movies points for having otherwise entertaining people in it. Example: John Leguizamo in Super Mario Bros. I actually liked that movie once I accepted the fact that it had nothing to do Mario.

Exactly. It isn't the best movie, it isn't a quality movie, but damn it was an alright fun ride with interesting characters. (I love Mario Bros as well).

My whole concern is that if these movies were never made I wouldn't notice either way. But if they never made "Dr. Strangelove", "Punch Drunk Love", the "Alien" series or ANYTHING Pierre-Jeunet or Gilliam did, then I'd feel like I've missed out on something. I feel this way everytime I wish I could locate a copy of "The Bed-Sitting Room". Never seen it, but damn I really want it bad.
