should i sell my ps3 for a 360? yes or no?

hey i need everybody's opinion i have a ps3 60gb model,2controllers and 35 games all mixed ps1 ps2 ps3 all mint no problems whatsoever with the system . now i've been looking at the xbox 360 man it's got lots of games and popular one's too,the 360 has been out for a couple of years now and the ps3 is younger in years but the 360 feels like it does not have that collectivity feel like the ps3 just look at the original xbox it's gone and nobody remembers it .am i too late to buy a 360?or should i keep my ps3?

what do you guy's think sell my ps3 and buy a 360 or stick with my ps3 till the end?

With 360's as cheap as they are now, I'd say get one and have the best of both worlds.

I know it's not answering the question really, but if it were me, I'd pick up an arcade unit ($150 new and it's the new chipset...can't go wrong) simply to save the hassle of selling off all your ps3 stuff (especially with so many games...if you sold them all together, you'd be taking a hit most likely.)

So in short, pick up a cheap 360, maybe sell off a few ps3 games you don't want and pick up some xbox exclusives.

You would have no problem selling that 60gig for 450-500$ BUT my personal reason for sticking with PS3 is that Theres Nothing on the 360 that I want that doesnt have a PS3 version. Halo/Gears Of War/Fable/Beautiful Katamari those are all good exclusives to me, but they dont really make me want to go sell my PS3 and buy a 360, if i wanted a 360 i would have bought one insted of a PS3.

So if you somewhat see what i feel about the 360 in terms of games, you might as well stick with the PS3

I haven't owned or played an xbox but I do have a BC PS3. I say keep the PS3.

I find myself addicted to the eyecandy of the new games but I do still buy and play PS1 and PS2 games on my unit so I do really like that feature. plus imho, the PS controller is the best. I like that it's stayed the same shape over the years but expanded it's functionality.

if you really want to play an xbox exclusive, maybe wait for a good deal on a used one ?

as a games machine - I vastly prefer my 360 to the PS3...

however I prefer watching DVDs and video files on the PS3 due to its quietness...

I would also say do all you can to try and keep the PS3 and get a 360

yeh I hve an 80GB and while I have to say it REALLY annoys me not being able to play PS2 games on it, I was extremely impressed by it's PS1 emu - it plays Soul Blade flawlessly, without even an audio glitch to be found, when I try and play Soul Blade on my slimline PS2 , it stutters and is pretty much unplayable once that fiery boss at the end comes on, or on Sophitia's seethrough floored level - also the intro video (which is one of my faves of all the Namco fighting series) plays fine.

my favourite feature however, was that the upscaling was done amazingly - i.e. with filtering off the pixels really are squares, not blurred at all - it looks great on my HDTV...

Depends on what you want,I have a 360 and their is a lot of great games,but I didn't get any games in a while,there $60! I own both earlier PS systems they are both great,but I don't have interest in owning the PS3 maybe I'll own it when the next generation of systems come out.

I had a 360 for a long time as well as a PS3 and there wasn't much I wanted on 360 that I couldn't get on PS3.

You basically buy a 360 if you like Halo, Gears, or banjo Kazooie. PS3 has a lot of exclusives that drew me to the system, including:

Valkyria Chronicles
Metal Gear 4
Uncharted
LBP
and God of War 3

In the end it's your choice, but for me PS3 was the hands down winner.

I've got both. My Xbox 360 is always in use and I'm constantly trying to find a reason to turn on the PS3. IMO Xbox Live, online community game selection, Live Arcade, make it my choice for HD gaming. If Playstation 3 would begin to act more like the PS2 things would be different. Where is the awesome variety of games from all genre's, especially the oddball and Japanese stuff? Not that Xbox is really beating them at that, its just what made PS2 so good and why I liked Sony.

I prefer my PS3, but of course it's up to you...

one thing tho - if u've got a load of games u ,might be able to trade in for an xbox - i traded in a load of crap games that i couldn't be bothered with about a year ago and got an xbox arcade with bioshock for £70
