Unlicensed cards are generally a bad idea, regardlessof platform.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

ive never had any problems with any cheap memory cards. i actually enjoy having usually 4 times the amount of memory for less money... im sure i will curse them though if i ever have a major game save loss if one goes bad. but so far so good.... i use them for psx, ps2, gamecube.

The official ones kicked me in the nuts for modding my PS2, so for unofficial games I use unofficial cards.

Seriously, I have one of each for the PS1 and PS2, but for Saturn and GameCube I have unofficial and every memory card I have used thus far works fine.

Only if sony would lower its ps2 memory card price, but having a modded one with ulaunch solves your space saving problem just copy files to a usb. Or use action replay max software.
