I have had a lot of my game collection in boxes. Today I decided to see if I could get most of them out in the family room in more readily accessible loctions. This led to a complete restructuring of my entertainment unit but I did manage to get a lot of my games out on display. Still boxed away are my SMS, Game Gear, 32X and PSP games. A lot of my peripherals are stacked in a basket which is overflowing. I'd like someday to get to the point where I can display everything, including the hardware boxes and other related but larger items.
Anyway, just to document my Genesis, Saturn, PSX, PS2, N64, Sega CD and NES games, I took some quick pictures. I really didn't grasp that I had this much stuff (and more still in boxes!) until I tried to make room for it all.
Here's a directory of the pictures, feel free to browse through.

I know what your talking about. I am making a list for Momocon and it turns out that I now have 75 NES games. Buy one or two every once and a while and it really starts to add up quick.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Is felix the cat for nes good? I really want it for some reason. Also, are the load times in Sonic CD for saturn really bad? I had the pc version back in the day (96 or so) and time travelling was hell because of the god awful load times. They're almost instant on gems collection.

Awesome collection of sega games. One recommendation though, don't stack your saturn and sega cd games, keep them standing up straight like you have most of them. The books will warp over time due to gravity pulling the instructions down in the middle. I know from personal experience that these will definitely warp bending in towards the center over time if they are stacked laying face up, now if you lay them face down it should be fine. But awesome collection none the less.

Felix is the only reason I even have an NES! It's a fairly typical platformer of the era, nothing outstanding. I just happen to be a big Felix The Cat fan too. Another of my collecting addictions, one I could cover in two areas with that particular game.Jrecee wrote:Is felix the cat for nes good? I really want it for some reason. Load times vary from game to game, some are pretty slow. I don't recall time travel loads in Sonic CD being that bad, but it's a Sega CD game not a Saturn game. I've got some PS2 games that have worse load times than anything on the Saturn.

For any game stacked flat, I make sure it has the little foam brick inside. This prevents the book from drooping!jamesesdad wrote:Awesome collection of sega games.
