Saturn game not reading need help

Hello I just bought my self panzer dragoon saga and the game won't load the part where i have to return to the excavation site. The disc does show some scratches but its not to bad, I've tried cleaning the disc and my saturns laser but it still won't load. Any one have any ideas of wut i should do?

Is the system modded? Do you have any other games to try? If not try making or downloading a copy of the game and try that.

The system is not modded, I have played all my other games with out problems. I'm downloading a copy of disc one but have no idea how to burn it on a mac.
