Odin Sphere drives me crazy!

Post by fox099 »

So Im playing Odin Sphere and just beat Titania with Mercedes, and I have to say, it drives me insane! Jumping knights, a sorcerer I can only kill by shooting its swords back at it, and stupid blobs all just destroys me. Its a good thing I am having a blast while going insane. Anyone else feel that Titania is just rediculous?

Ugh, I hated that game. I'll say more so as not to be a troll

I had the same experience. An intensely frustrating, deeply flawed game, but I still came back and beat it, and enjoyed the overall experience.

And those wizards that sucked so hardcore as bosses? You get to do it two more times. Enjoy.

LOL, yeah I meant to type "no more". I've ranted about Odin Sphere on this forum before and I'm trying to stop. I'll just say that the game had great potential and let me down. I wish the combat were a bit deeper and there was less repetition in the stages and bosses, then I would have loved it. The slowdown is annoying too, but that's something I could have overlooked were it not for the other flaws.

Yea such an awesome looking game I was disappointed at how repetitive and grindy it was, maybe some day ill try to play through it just for the look of it.

This was a game that I definately couldn't play a second time for a long while, which make the gamefaqs forums for it very scary. I mean, we have people who replay it over and over on HARD mode.

I do have high hopes for Muramasa, though.

I actually liked Odin Sphere. It was innovative and spectacular to look at and play. It was fresh enough to play that I didn't mind the difficulty curve.
