I got my HDTV two years ago, but more for my PS3 and Xbox 360 then for the digital switch...

Plus we have cable anyways, so we are ok for all our regular t.v's.

I have DirecTV on both of the TV's at my house. My LCD TV has a tuner as well. I sent for one of the coupons so I would have a tuner handy for the old CRT if needed, haven't received it yet though.

If your not ready by now you don't deserve to watch TV.

Exactly. It's dumb they pushed the deadline back to June.

Not ready! I stream all the TV that I want to watch to my computer. I feel it's easy and cheaper than having the full cable package and a DVR for on demand. That being said, I have a regular definition TV that I play my video games on, and that's not getting a box or anything because I would never watch it. The only reason I would want a converter is to watch the 3 different flavors of PBS.

Yes, I don't know how anybody could not be ready at this point. The delay, however, is optional. Each TV station has the option of going digital only on Feb. 17 or not. I think most of them will just because it costs money to NOT switch to digital only.

For some people, the only thing that will make them switch is the inability to watch TV because they haven't previously prepared themselves. The government shouldn't coddle these dimwits that aren't prepared. Hell, the government was/is even willing to help pay for a converter box, how much more can they do? Nothing. Throw the switch.
